Couples who are going to be typing the knot soon will be double checking all their arrangements to see if they have everything covered and all details down to the last is on target to go without a hitch.

There are lots of details to remember to arrange for our wedding day including where to get married and where to have your reception afterwards.

After the wedding gowns and venue the one thing that gets your guests talking is the cake. At a recent wedding of my best mate's oldest girl all the talk was about the wedding cake and what it would look it as the price was a small fortune and was to take pride of place in a corner with no - one to have a piece with their tea. On top of all the expense the bakery was charging a fortune to deliver the cake to the venue so my friend's husband needed to drive a 200 mile round trip without any damagae to the cake so that delivery could be made the day before the wedding.

When deciding on a cake for your wedding think about your price range first of all as this item can prove to be very costly. Go online and look at a number of pictures to think about designs and once you have an image in mind then your half way there. Important to think about style and size of cake this all goes down to the venue and style of wedding you are having. As you want the cake to fit into your wedding design.

Designs of cakes come in all different sizes and wedding designs. Elaborate designs are perfect if you are having a large wedding and money is no object but a simple wedding only requires a simple cake.

That being said you can order any type of design now with a variety of colours and mixtures from traditional to chocolate make. No matter the happy couple will be delighted with their cake no matter what they select.

Upon deciding on what style of cake your next decision would be to decide on which bakery will take your order. Try and sample a few pieces of cake or ask around for any one's advise on which bakeries to place your order.
